Rethinking Polestar's online configurator

Polestar is a leading electric vehicle company that designs and manufactures luxurious and high-performance electric cars with a focus on progressive design, innovation, and sustainability.

In order to enhance Polestar's online configuration experience, I designed 'Polaris'. Polaris provides a more dynamic way of configuring, focussing not only on the purchasing users but also supporting exploring users. This is done by creating a multi-layered configurator that allows the user to easily swap out parts, compare them in detail and also get more information on the individual parts.

As a product designer on this project I was in charge on doing the whole research to high fidelity prototyping.
